CDM Regulations NI 2016

1/2 Day

What are the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2016

CDM 2016 came into effect in Northern Ireland on the 1st August 2016 and replaces CDM 2007.

The new Regulations maintain the framework for management of health and safety risks established by the earlier Regulations but are shorter and substantially simpler in structure.

This training course has been designed to give you an overview of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2016 and will explain how they will affect your work and the changes you need to make to help you plan and manage your work in order to meet your legal responsibilities.

The training course will look at the main changes between CDM 2007 and CDM Regs NI 2016 (CDM 2015 came into force in GB in 2015 and is almost identical to the CDM Regs NI 2016) and will provide information and strategies for planning and designing for health & safety within construction projects.

Who should attend the course?

The CDM Regulations Northern Ireland 2016 course will be of great benefit to Clients, Designers and Contractors alike.
