BSD Training have been carrying out forklift training in Northern Ireland for over 20 years and all our instructors have a wealth of experience and training knowledge. We have a number of counterbalance forklifts, pallet trucks, a telescopic handler and a reach truck at our training centre in Lisburn where training is carried out daily on these machines. If you need forklift training but don't have access to a forklift or are an individual looking to further their skills we can provide a course to suit you.

BSD Training are proud to be an ITSSAR Category 3: Instructor & Operator Training Organisation. One of only 2 centres in Northern Ireland that are Category 3 training organisations. This means that not only can we train and assess operators we can also train Instructors to ITSSAR Standards who can then train operators within your own company to ITSSAR Standards.

All our instructors are accredited by ITSSAR to carry out lift truck and plant and machinery training to their high industry accreditation standards.

ITSSAR is approved and listed as an accrediting organisation by the Health & Safety Commission (HSC) in the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) for Lift Truck Operator Training. Its sole function is to write and monitor training standards for a broad range of mechanical handling equipment including construction plant, crane operation, lifting and rigging operations, and slinging and signalling. This ensures that its registrants are delivering the highest quality of training within the workplace. The Standards are relevant, current, and comprehensive and far exceed the Accrediting Bodies Forum 2000.
