What are NOCN Cskills qualifications?

NOCN acquired Cskills Awards from the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) in 2017 creating the UK’s second largest construction AO. The move has greatly reassured the market by guaranteeing its ability to meet the challenges ahead with increased and enhanced skills.

CSkills has a peerless reputation in the construction sector, delivering a wide range of qualifications from Entry Level to Level 7 – and now as part of NOCN Group delivers some 4,000 apprenticeships a year.

Why do I need a qualification to work in the construction industry?

The Construction Leadership Council (CLC) has decided that there is a need for a qualified workforce. A result of this is the the withdrawal of CSCS cards awarded by 'Grandfather Rights' by 31st December 2024. The NVQ will help fill the skills gap and provide the only route to obtaining the Blue Skilled Worker card. This includes Plant Operator Schemes such as CPCS Blue Cards as well.

What qualifications can BSD Training offer me?

We offer a wide range of Construction NVQ's to help you get the skilled worker cards needed to work on sites throughout the UK and ROI. Level 2 qualifications can equate to a Blue skills card and the level 3 and above will allow you to gain a Gold skills card in the relevant occupational area.
