Computer Testing Suite gets an update

We have had our current Touchscreen Computers for 4 years now and they have completed numerous CITB Health, Safety and Environment tests and City and Guilds PA1 Assessments during that time.

With many systems now moving to Windows 11 we took the decision to update and upgrade our 8 test delivery machines to Dell OptiPlex 7400 All-in-One Touchscreen units which will ensure our testing facilities will continue to work seamlessly and without any issues.

By utilising touchscreen computers we have been able to give candidates the option of using a mouse to select the answers to the questions or to just touch the screen to select an answer. We have found that by providing candidates the option to simply tap the screen to select their answers it has helped to eliminate the worries that some may have about having to use a mouse when they are maybe not familiar with how it works.

This allows them to focus entirely on the questions and their answers without getting distracted or concerned about remembering how to move the curser on the screen or what side of the mouse to click to select their answer.
