Honda TRX520 FA6 Takes Over ATV Training Duties

Published on 07.01.2025

The start to 2025 sees the arrival of a new Honda Foreman TRX520FA6 ATV to take on the mantle of ATV training from our previous Suzuki Eiger 400.

The most significant difference between our previous ATV and the new Honda one is that we now have an electric gear shift as well as the option to operate in fully automatic mode with a double-clutch (DCT) gearbox and let the ATV deal with all the gearshifts.

This coupled with Power Steering will make operation much easier for delegates by not having to use a manual foot gear shifter and also help to significantly reduce operator fatigue and the effects of kick back through the handlebars.

Fully independent rear suspension will allow for 85kg carrying capacity on the rear rack and a towing capacity of 600kg which will be perfect for carrying the Mounted Boom Sprayer for the PA2A Training and Assessments as well as having plenty of capacity to tow the weed wiper for the PA2F Training and Assessments.

The Honda TraxLok® system allows easy switching between the lighter steering of 2wd and the traction provided by 4wd. A push-button full differential lock is also provided to give you maximum traction when needed, which will ensure that the TRX520 will be capable of tackling all the terrain that our training course throws at it.
